Moving Up Socks!

awww righty then...the toe-up socks are progressing nicely...i like them better than i thought i would. the yarn is trekking (can't remember color#) & so true that it's impossible to match the stripes. oh and...yup, that is my leg and...yup, it is THAT white and...yup, i do live like 5min from a beach. hey, life has been busy here, i haven't been to the beach at all this summer, hmmmmmm wait, i drive over the bridge and see it every day (twice) and i imagine sitting in the beach chair, soaking up the sun...does that count??

Forget Socks!

Hi! too much happening here, haven't knit socks this weekend. #2 son had some drama at college - and not the fun drama. a lightening strike to the apartment floor above his caused a major fire....the whole building is----welp, gonna be demolished. it was very distressing to watch the news and see the hugely, huge flames and know that my kid was right there in the building one floor lower and i hadn't heard from him and........ everything is TOAST, but all the students are alive and fine so onward we go!!!!!!!!
