*Sleep*over

L M had his first sleepover at Mamere's ~ YAY!

first we read a book, then we got tired cranky, then we went to sleep.......but at 12:30 a.m.

we decided we didn't like the pack n play sleep thingy.

12:30 a.m. we decided was a good time to talk and smile and babble endlessly!!

thankfully, we didn't wake L B & L J !!

finally we went back to sleep ~ on the couch with Mamere's pillow & yes, i do know that babies are not supposed to use pillows & they must sleep on their backs ~ TOOOO BADDD! (you can talk to me about it after you've spent a night here!)

the cutie pie woke at 5:30 a.m. so here we are!!

wow! another busy week. and today is someone's 20th birthday - so a busy day!!! no knitting!

found an error (probably mine!) in the pattern for the co-worker socks ~ had to rip, rip, rip! back to the start of the heel. ~~~on both socks! man oh man ~~every have that little feeling that something isn't right?? welp, if i had listened to it, i wouldn't have had to RIP! but since i like knitting socks - it's not too much of an issue - i just wanted to be done with this pair.

i might be a little obsessed with socks ~ only a little. taking some time this weekend to clean (yuck!), organize. have decided i should probably complete the socks already on needles before starting the Jaywalker pattern but only because.....................well, all these socks need me!

Got Socks! & yarn!

am really loving these Socks that Rock socks. they are so comfy (welp, except for the needles hanging out of them!) i did have to change to double points for the gusset decreases ~ i suppose if i took the time to read the magic loop book i have ~ i could have kept them on the circ needle!

and the co-worker's socks are also at the heel & gussest........i'm hoping to finish these this weekend.......it's a great pattern & i like the yarn ,,,,, but i hate having them hang over my shoulder asking why i'm not knitting them!

oh yea!!!! got some more Vesper Sock Yarn YAY! this is the "crew" color. saw this made into MagKnits jaywalkers & i might do the same! hope the link works - i think it's for their main page & you'll have to check archive for the pattern - it's easy, cute, works great with self-striping yarns.

the sweater is moving along too - mindless knitting now that the increases are done and the sleeves on waste yarn for later - you just go round and round and round!

Not much knitting

sooo.....last week was busy - work, watching little ones, and just trying to keep the head above!

weather man was disappointing - we got no snow - wait we had a couple minutes of flakes.

weekend was busy too, but nice.

Saturday had L M while Mom & Dad & L B & L J did some shopping.

then Sunday had all 3 while the Mom & Dad worked!!!! we had fun, we had attitude, we had fun, we had ...............i'm sure you get the idea!!!! oh, pics ~ here ya go!

i couldn't even sneak in a couple rows of knitting, they kept me so having fun ~however i did get some time after they left to start a top down sweater (from Knitting Pure & Simple) - this is red heart soft yarn & yep, i know it's acrylic~but i need to see what size i want & if it doesn't fit me it will fit DIL or L B !! it helps me to test a pattern before picking expensive yarn.

the Blue Moon Fiber Arts (socks that rock yarn) socks grew some - now to do the heel!

bummer man, i'm gonna be late to work.
