i think this might become a scarf for my pal

color is 'beach day'

but i don't know, it might become some socks! (surprised?)

i was able to get some (7!) Wendy Knits! patterns - uh, YAY! for me!now to get the Heidi Hearts pattern

the interlacement tiny toes socks got RIPPPPEDDDD & the yarn is sitting in the corner (i don't think it cares) ~ that yarn has made me MAD ~ st*pid yarn.

so i've only one pair of socks i'm working on

these are sock savior socks for Sockapalooza4

the pointy toe still bugs me a bit but when i try them on, it's ok (kinda) maybe it's MY foot that is deformed, people at work like them!

Tiny Toes Socks!

i can't decide if i like this yarn. Interlacements Tiny Toes.

have tried so many patterns trying to get it to cooperate.

it's pretty yarn, great colors.

tho not sure i care for the splitting or the texture. am hoping that once finished and washed they'll behave better.

it's unusual for a sock yarn to give me so much trouble - the last yarn that did that - i WON! and really, that sock yarn didn't want to be a scarf ~ it only wanted to be Jaywalkers and was successful in it's quest :)

so i don't understand this yarns problem!! at least it decided to stripe when i tried yet again another pattern Wendy Knits! basic toe-up sock. we shall see.

Hello Socks!

some days i feel so so lucky!

the other day, i'm not sure why

but i clicked on Hello Yarn ~she had just updated her shop & i was able to get

~~ sock yarn!!! yippee for me me!!

oh, that is a little sheep it was in the package :)

so i suppose i should wind it for my next pair of socks -- the yellow socks will be done this evening.funny thing about these socks

found the stitch pattern somewhere, for rows

forgot to adjust it for rounds

so they have a kinda 'band' going up the side of the leg. if i had planned it correctly, i could have made right & left socks & used some slim ribbon to weave thru the lace holes & tied a bow at the top under the ribbing.

if i do that now, i'll have 2 left socks! am i gonna ripppp one? nope! they'll just be unique. and somehow, i accidently matched the stripes ~ go figure~
