pink Socks! blue Socks!

these pink ones will be completed over the weekend ~ YAY!

the blue ones had to be ripped out :P ~ they wouldn't go over the footsie!

it's cherry tree hill supersock (from years back) and i'm sure i had this exact problem with it ~ during Sockapaloooza ~ i would call it "dumb yarn" but my other pair of socks knit with it are a favorite! it's soft and smooshy, it washes and dries wonderfully.........

so i ripped and restarted immediately ~ i hope these don't turn out too big! heh!

these will be next ~ have to figure ~ reduction in pattern repeats ~ yarn is thicker than the normal sock yarn

saw a momma turkey and her 5 babies yesterday.......they were rushing across the road in front of me......i stopped to watch and she stopped to watch me! it was cool :)

#2 was with me and began making comments about Thanksgiving and food!

husbeast(ha!) now has a job and the rest of us are half----uhhh----hardly---looking :P

we've lost my favorite cat............whaaaaaaaaaaaa...........he left one day to wander and has never returned.........i'm trying to be positive........he's very resourceful and it's only (gulp!) been 3 days........he's done this before (at our other home) and made it back........

my positiveness ~that he'll return~ is annoying the people around me.....but why do they gotta take away hope??? quit shoving reality down my throat man!!

oh and another BTW ~~~ my sister turned really old yesterday!! hope you had a fun day;)

welp, my cutie pies left me on July 4th........hope they made it to the fireworks :)

it was very quiet here ~~ all day! i did hear some fireworks later in the evening

husbeast (ha!) and both #2 & #3 sons were out of town.........then no one came home til 9pm on the 5th

i hung out......... did some laundry.......... looked at the boxes that need unpacking (STILL!)

sat down..........and KNIT!! ~~~ it was very relaxing & a bit eery

i would show you pictures but #3 has the camera with him :P

now we are getting back into the groove of organizing, etc
