#1: the driveway!!

most times our driveway.........kicks my behind!!

that first hill ~~ i can't breath, talk, whatever, all focus is on one foot in front of the other

the last 3-4 times..........i'm so excited!!!!.................i..........me.........kicked ITS behind ~~ ha! ha! dumb driveway..........I win

the view~~ when you finally get to the top ~~~~

i took the camera ~ cuz i keep encountering the same (i think) deer ~ these two "hang" at one of the driveway hills

they dashed in separate directions!!

#2: the treadmill

i do pretty well on the ......except......i haven't been able to get past a level.......Hooray! finally did!!

it's always set at the hardest incline....to increase the speed was my goal (i guess) and while i don't really have any specific "anything" to accomplish.........it was bugging me.........now i've jumped to the next level and BEYOND>>>>>

geesh! it's the simple things ~~ right!

NOT!!! they are turkey socks ~ annoying ~ but the turkey was YUMMY!!!

this is one repeat of 28row chart

this is two repeats they won't make it any longer than this because...........

i'm not feeling the love with this pattern ~~ even using 2 sizes larger than my normal sock ~ it pulls in so very tightly ~ goes over my heel fine but up the leg makes you look like you've got WIDE ankles and calves!! wish i'd put a lifeline to help me get back to save the ribbing!!

but i will find the right pattern because.......no yarn has ever defeated me and..........i really like this yarn........ :)

the socks are done!

started some more ~ heh!

started a wallaby ~ practice one again ~ yucky yarn! ~ that for some reason i have quite alot of..........

the uhhhh, d*mb cat follows the shadows on the walls

she...........believes there is something in the ceiling

she.......could be right! the home WAS empty for 6 or more months prior to our purchase

why yes! that is a fairly large cup of coffee sitting next to PS3 ~ i like to live dangerously ~ and i'm not the one who spilled KOOLAID in the printer tray ~ yes, i understand it was not your cup of KOOLAID ~ ~~~~~~

of the bunnies!!

was very relieved ~ my sister made them years ago ~the cutie pies have always loved them....

the boy lost his felt nose....and his jacket is a little smaller!

the dress came out ok

they look a bit fuzzier than normal ~ but they are clean ~ now i need to find them a little bench to sit on...

#3 walked out back last night - was greeted by 5 deer - guess they figured we won't shoot them so they're hanging out!

i had one deer standing about 30 feet away ~ eating while i went to feed the bunnies ~ didn't even care i had a flashlight! forgot he was in a box

the other morning i saw my first with antlers!! he was beautiful....had a black and white speckly face and not too big antlers.....hoping he is ok and not hunted!! forgot they were in a box

really busy.....

doing nothing!! after 3 days of rain our pond filled

days just seem to slide by here..........

it's peaceful..........

we're saturating the area with applications ~ i prefer part time ~ so am hoping that helps employers who don't want to offer benefits!

hunting has commenced and i'm not happy!! see my teeth?? let me at those hunters!

we have a family of deer ~ they visit every evening ~ i haven't seen my family of turkeys in 4weeks :(

i'm worried about my big black bear too!! we thought they were "protected" but the local paper printed a picture of one shot & killed...wahhhhh! husbeast(ha!) thinks he found bear poo!!

oh boy!!

there are quite a few knitting blogs out there

i have 6 or 8 that i follow every day ~ i like to see what they're knitting, what's happening in their world ~ i mostly lurk, commenting when i have questions or they've made me laugh out loud!!

Stitches of Violet is one of the daily stops ~ yep! i actually have a folder that its name is "daily read blogs"

she has such a great blog...........lots of info on knitting, socks too! and lots of wonderful pics of the world around her.....i love the nesting box checks in the spring.......i like her doggies! and all the birds that land right where she can get the best pics!

~ she held a contest for her 5 years of blogging and offered up some sock yarn from SlackFord Studio ~ amazingly ~~ i won a skein!

it's so pretty ~~ don't ya think???

there were some lovely stitch markers with it!

(and i visited the shop - i like the BRIGHT yellow, the BLAZING pink - i see them in my future!)

didn't get picks of it on the tinkertoy swift ~ but it's wound now and ready to become some sockies!!!
