okey dokey the socks are done! washed & dryed - yep! i tossed those puppies right into the washer & dryer - with just a brief moment of unease!
they returned to me with no shrinking, felting or fading! hubby said "you're going to wash the Koolaid right out of them" but i'm happpy to say he was wrong!!

my toe sucks cause i tried to pick up the wraps like the pattern said. then i remembered doing a Six Sox pattern that didn't pick them up and used that on the heels -- turned out much better! just leave the stitches double wrapped and no holes!! YAY!these were a lot of fun & more so cause i dyed the yarn. 
Knitpicks really has some great yarns, this is their superwash bare merino sock. i'm impressed that it washes & DRIES!
