the Jaywalkers are done done done!!! i really like them!

when i started the toe, i couldn't figure out why my stitch count was off from the pattern & realized that somehow i "modified" the pattern.....it was an accident! it's really called....didn't read after picking up gussets - i just figured that you decrease down, keeping the pattern
going....but there was supposed to be a slipped stitch at each side (didn't do that) and less stitches than started with - so i think the toe looks a little (LOT) box''y - i COULD have ripped back & done them right but this was the ANNOYING sock yarn so i left it.
but otherwise they fit! & i didn't run out of yarn!! & i have to agree with someone's blog i read -- she was talking about how taking pics of socks yourself makes your legs look quite huge --so true! i promise, my legs don't really look this way (or DO they!?)
