glaringly obvious

annoyed........but lesson learned!see the color difference??? same dye lot ~ go figure!

from now on any scarf requiring 2 skeins will be knit alternating the skeins every 2 rows!!
sorry for the crud pics.....it's dismal outside...here comes the rain again!

off to the 3 LYS today to purchase replacement yarn ~ already picked out pattern.

this IS a lovely scarf ~ but "two-tone" and not good enough to send to my ISE6 pal....... she is a fabulous knitter and i'm trying to measure up!

as usual ~~ the tuna cat is unconcerned

I had the same thing happen to me with Red Heart yarn. It said no dye lot so you didn't have to worry about it. I was crocheting my first sweater, had done everything but the last sleeve and ran out. I used the next skein of yarn to finish and it turned out more purple than blue. So noticeable I didn't know what else to do with it. I didn't frog it, I just buried away in the back of my yarn stash. What a disappointment. Your scarf looks nice, anyway. I think if you wore it and tied it up during the winter, it might blend and not be so noticeable? So what are you going to do with it? Have you thought about sending the photo in to the yarn company and see what they say? I wonder if they'd send you some yarn... maybe I should do that with my sweater.
