we're saturating the area with applications ~ i prefer part time ~ so am hoping that helps employers who don't want to offer benefits!
hunting has commenced and i'm not happy!!

i'm worried about my big black bear too!! we thought they were "protected" but the local paper printed a picture of one shot & killed...wahhhhh!

My dogs are cowering in the house with all the deer hunting guns going off here in the evening. I have to take them out on the leash to give them courage to pee.
ohhh, poor puppies!! i went down the back to feed the bunnies last night & a shot was so loud & seemed so close
~i yelled "stop! it!" and didn't hear anymore shooting for the rest of the night...
Hey we have a family of deer in our back 40 too. We went to the Co-op and bought a sack of feed corn and some salt licks to put out for them. They really like the apples on our trees but they are almost gone. Think tomorrow we may put out some water for them too.

Happening here too and now they have authorized turkey hunting for next two weeks. Haven't seen my family of 9 since they announced the hunt! LOL Tell Mr.W that is NOT big enough for a bear poo!!! I know from experience. :) Bear cubs were here this morning but they were late, missed garbage by hours, garbage was picked up at 8AM and they showed up at 11:00AM
