the unexpected visitor

the house at the bottom of the road that leads to me..........used to have 2 dogs ~ one HUGE ~ one not so......#2 called the HUGE "bear" ~ he hasn't been seen all summer :(

the not so huge dog ~ now has a replacement friend ~ a goat!! complete with horns ~ a billy goat ~~ hahahaha!!

on his way home from work last wednesday? the husbeast(ha!) saw the dog and the goat climbing the road to the top of the mountain ~ the goat dragging his chain ~ we walked up our drive to find them.....i mean....poor goat! if he got his chain stuck he could be hurt

couldn't find them but saw the trail from the chain & followed it........bummer man! it went into the woods ~ no way to track them ~ walking back to our house ~ i joked with husbeast(ha!) that we'd get back and the goat & dog would be in the backyard!

at the top of the drive i could hear Poopster barking ~ she doesn't do that much ~ then i heard the goat bray!! Good job Poopy!

our driveway is very long.....and has 4 hills! i tried to hurry ~ oh, looky, a weird catepillar!

we returned the goat (and the dog)

the goat didn't want to go!

oh yeah, they WERE in the backyard!
