the wavy wimple is done!! it's pretty cute! hope to have a pic with someone wearing it but for now.....i couldn't remember if i'd used vinegar when i dyed the yarn so as a precaution it's in the microwave right now being zapped! 
have narrowed down the pattern choices for the Lornas Laces - i was hoping to have a definite choice so i could start. maybe i'll do each sock in a different pattern & see what happens! or maybe she won't mind if her socks don't match!!!!
i found this yarn thru someones blog - it's thick-n-thin & i've got the perfect hat pattern for it!!! (again ~ why i'm knitting scarves / hats when it's 70 outside is beyond me ~)
