fun day!

i'm having a great time!!! a co-worker asked me to make her cousin a pair of socks......i don't mind doing this ...however ~ my rule is ~ they must purchase the yarn.

i seek out a pattern (one the yarn chosen will want to "BE").

oh, i also provide the different yarn stores in the area that carry sock yarns, and i try to stress the importance of natural fibers vs (ack!) acrylic, etc.

she came back with some Lornas Laces!! i do like this yarn, it's soft and wonderful to work with....i've seen others have difficulty with pooling....and hope this won't be the case.

the pair i made with this for the other co-worker had some "flashing", guess i can alternate rows/skeins if need to.

now to search ALL my sock patterns & books (ya don't want to know - trust me!) - the "great time" i mentioned earlier!!

i love socks! am a little intimidated tho - this person is a fabulous quilter - what kind of pattern do i use??
